2010 is shaping up to be very exciting!

So it’s no big secret that I spend alot of time studying animation and filmmaking.
Years, in fact.
One of the first drawing books I got as a kid was the great
Preston Blair’s Animation 1: Learn to Animate Cartoons Step by Step (Cartooning, Book 1)

Some more character concepts that are being revised for final approvals.
We will have some actual animation tests to post this weekend, then onto casting the voice talent.

At this point, we are still working on just how “toony” we want to make the physics of the universe our characters live in.
Part of that decision process is being guided by our character designs.  I have no desire to crank out a slapstick parody of a pulp space fantasy world.
Decisions, decisions…

Here is some splash art of Lewaine and Bo.  I will be rolling out designs for the rest of the cast
later this week.

I spent most of the holidays (when I wasn’t stuffing myself with pumpkin pie…) working on getting the primary rendering machine back online.
What a pain that was, and it really set back our rough timing shots.
I do however, want to throw out a little more concept art for you.

Lots more coming, and the rendering has already begun on the teaser trailer!

upcoming series.
